Currently working out of Morioka City, Japan, Crooked Human has been crafting his sound for the past five years through beat production and DJing endeavors throughout the land of the rising sun. For production purposes he’s most comfortable, and quite ill to say the least, with the Boss SP-404, a revered sampler and pad based programming device used by the likes of Madlib, Dibiase, Ras G, Four Tet and many more. All in all, he loves good music, especially vinyl, which he continues to dig and make music from on a daily basis. Crooked Human will be lending his futuristic funk and soul flavor to upcoming releases at Research Deluxe beginning in early 2012… Stay on the lookout.
Hidenori Koga joined the Research Deluxe roster in mid-2011 and along with him came some brilliant design skills. He was born in Nagano, Japan, and currently resides in Tokyo, where he received a Bachelors of Engineering degree in Architecture from the Musashi Institute of Technology. Hidenori will be heading up the art department at RDLX and overseeing the majority of cover designs and related material that is released by the label.
